weh-weh, they mumble
ah-weeeee! they cry
angry birdlings let me pull them
released into the pixel sky
looking for their eggs
unhatched & taken
by froggy green pigs
i hate the pigs, their snouts
gruff laughs at missed
rescue attempts, I will smash
wooden boxes, pots of gold, ice cubes
until we are all
free
maldito juego del ipod touch
weh-weh, dicen entre dientes
ah-weeeee! lloran
pajarillos enojados
me dejan tirarlos
lanzarlos a la libertad del cielo
para encontrar sus huevos
no eclosionados y robarselos
libres
Love it! Made me laugh, made me think of my grandchildren, made me think what a Tech No Abuela I am, made me happy I’m getting my Apple training on my Mac so I too can play the games I like= making videos of my familia y amigos. The pajaritos made me think of my uncle Raymond who called me “Chickadee” because I would stand in my crib as a toddler and whistle. Thanks for a delightful poema. Carolina
